Turning the fallen
into treasures.

Making a jewelry stand from a branch, and turning an everyday surface into a small ritual space.

I made this stand from branches, thread, and time. It began as a practical place to hang a few necklaces, but the slow work of wrapping, balancing, and arranging changed its feeling. It became a small home for things I carry close.

Found materials can become an invitation to look more closely.

Art-therapy-informed making does not have to stay on paper. It can include the objects and spaces around us. When we make or tend a small corner of our environment, we are practicing attention: choosing what belongs there, what supports us, and what we want to meet each day.

There was no grand plan for this piece. I simply followed the materials. The uneven lines and handmade joins are part of its story. They remind me that care does not need to look flawless to be real.

Sometimes a creative practice is as simple as giving a cherished object a place to rest.
